Teeth whitening guide

Want to whiten your teeth but not sure what is best for you? Maybe this can help.
Bleaching strips
You can buy them yourself in drugstores or order them online, they have a low concentration of hydrogen peroxide - that's why they are easily available. Since they are gentle on sensitive teeth, they should be used much longer and more often to see some results. They are better for maintaining the whiteness of already whitened teeth than for concrete whitening.
Whitening toothpaste
Pastes or now popular gels and pastes with charcoal. I don't like them because they are very abrasive which means they can damage enamel, gums and cause tooth sensitivity and receding gums. The pastes do not whiten, but only remove dark spots from the teeth to make them look whiter.
Splints worn at night
This is part of professional whitening at home, because you get the splint and the gel you apply to it in agreement with the dentist. Every night for 7 or 10 days you put carbamide peroxide gel in the splint and sleep with it.
