WAX UP
Wax up is nothing but reshaping your teeth with wax performed by a dental technician. After we show you the wax up and explain what effect certain characteristics of the teeth will have, the MOCK UP follows, where you try out those teeth using a temporary material.
This way you will be able to see what your veneers will look like and decide on possible changes. Once the patient is satisfied with the appearance of the temporary veneers, the teeth are ground down.

Teeth can be ground only 0.3 mm when making veneers, which all depends on the existing condition in the mouth and the desired effect afterwards. After grinding, the dentist takes impressions which she sends to the laboratory where the final veneers are made.
They can be tried one more time using a special paste (Try In paste), after that they are cemented, once the patient is completely satisfied, with permanent cement.
