Canker sores

"What's that in my mouth ?!" is a sentence that goes through our head the moment we see and feel a canker sore.

Canker sores are small sores in the mouth that can be painful and tend to recur frequently.
They can appear on the membrane of the mouth, tongue, inside of the lips and on the cheeks. Canker sores are more common in younger people, especially women during the second half of the menstrual cycle, and the "culprit" for their appearance is a drop in immunity, an allergic reaction or a sign of some disorder in the body (vitamin C and B12 deficiency, anemia, etc.).
The cause can also be sharp fillings, braces and prostheses that create sores in the mouth.

Help with canker sores can be found in softer brushes, avoiding acidic, carbonated and hot drinks, avoiding spicy food and using sage tea as a mouthwash.
